Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt/order number or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@outdoormanaustralia.com.au. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Shop 2 / 30 Civil Road, Garbutt, QLD 4814 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

❌ High-Risk Order Cancellation & Restocking Fee

If a customer elects to cancel an order that has been identified as high risk instead of completing the verification process, or if the order is cancelled due to failure to provide requested information within a reasonable timeframe, the following conditions apply:

  • A 20% cancellation / restocking fee will be deducted from the total order value

  • The remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment method

  • Payment processing and transaction fees are non-refundable

This fee reflects the administrative handling, payment gateway costs, and risk exposure associated with high-risk transactions.

  • Outdoor Man Australia reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order that cannot be satisfactorily verified

  • Repeated high-risk or suspicious transactions may result in future orders being declined

  • By placing an order with Outdoor Man Australia, you agree to these terms

Pre-Order Refund & Cancellation Policy

Pre-Order items are not in stock at the time of purchase. By hitting that buy button ("PRE_ORDER" Button), you’re agreeing that the gear is delayed or on the way, delivery may take longer than usual, and you’re cool with the wait.

If you change your mind and want to cancel a Pre-Order, no worries — but a 20% restocking fee will apply. That covers the time, admin, and supplier commitments already locked in to secure your order.

Once a Pre-Order item ships, it’s all yours — no cancellations or refunds after dispatch.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, something is missing or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food items), and custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to request a return of the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.

 If in the case of “Change of Mind” or incorrect selection, Outdoor Man Australia may, at their sole discretion, provide a refund on the return of the Products within 14 days days where the Product packaging is unopened and remains in a saleable condition. You acknowledge and agree that you are liable for any postage and shipping costs (including the actual cost of shipping the original order) associated with any refund pursuant to this clause. An up to 20% re-stocking fee may apply.

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
