Description

Elk Ridge ER012 12.5 Inch Bowie Knife – 440 Stainless Steel & Pakkawood Handle

The Elk Ridge ER012 Bowie Knife combines traditional Bowie-style design with a substantial 184mm (7.25-inch) 440 stainless steel blade, full-tang construction and a classic brown pakkawood handle.

Measuring approximately 317.5mm (12.5 inches) overall, this large fixed-blade knife features the distinctive proportions of a traditional Bowie knife, complemented by practical construction and timeless outdoor styling.

440 Stainless Steel Blade

The ER012 features a 184mm 440 stainless steel blade, offering practical corrosion resistance and straightforward sharpening and maintenance.

The substantial blade length provides a generous cutting edge, while the classic Bowie-style profile gives the knife its distinctive appearance.

The 440 stainless steel construction makes the ER012 a practical option for those seeking a traditional fixed-blade knife with manageable maintenance requirements.

Full-Tang Fixed-Blade Construction

The full-tang design extends the blade steel through the handle, creating a continuous steel structure.

Unlike folding knives, the ER012 has no folding mechanism or pivot, providing a straightforward and robust fixed-blade configuration.

This construction is a desirable feature for customers who value traditional knife design and structural simplicity.

Traditional Brown Pakkawood Handle

The ER012 features a brown pakkawood handle, combining classic timber-style appearance with the layered wood-and-resin construction characteristic of pakkawood.

Pakkawood is produced using layers of wood veneer bonded with resin, creating a stable handle material with an attractive wood-grain finish.

The contrasting brown handle and stainless steel blade give the ER012 its traditional hunting knife appearance.

Substantial 12.5-Inch Overall Length

With an advertised 317.5mm overall length, the ER012 is a large-format Bowie knife.

Its proportions distinguish it from compact hunting and utility knives, offering the appearance and feel associated with traditional full-sized fixed-blade designs.

Nylon Sheath Included

The Elk Ridge ER012 includes a nylon sheath, providing a dedicated accessory for storing and transporting the knife.

The sheath helps protect the blade when the knife is not in use and provides a practical storage solution.

Classic Elk Ridge Bowie Knife Design

Combining a 440 stainless steel blade, full-tang construction, brown pakkawood handle and substantial 12.5-inch overall length, the Elk Ridge ER012 offers traditional styling with practical materials and construction.

It is a distinctive addition to the Elk Ridge fixed-blade knife range for customers who appreciate classic Bowie-style knives.
