The Pro Ears Stealth 28 HT delivers high-performance electronic hearing protection in an ultra-lightweight, low-profile behind-the-head design made for shooters, hunters and anyone working in high-noise environments.

Offering a 28 dB Noise Reduction Rating (NRR), proprietary DLSC sound compression and up to 5X amplification, the Stealth 28 HT helps protect your hearing from hazardous noise while keeping important sounds such as conversation, range commands and movement around you clear and natural.

Unlike traditional electronic earmuffs, the Stealth 28 HT sits in the ears with a compact band positioned behind the head. This keeps bulky ear cups away from your shooting glasses, hat and firearm stock, making it particularly suited to rifle and shotgun shooters.

DLSC Sound Compression

Pro Ears' proprietary Dynamic Level Sound Compression (DLSC) system is designed to manage hazardous impulse noise while maintaining more natural ambient sound.

When loud impulse sounds occur, the system responds to the hazardous noise while continuing to provide awareness of what's happening around you.

The Stealth 28 HT also provides selectable Fast and Slow release modes, allowing the compression response to be adjusted for different shooting environments. Fast release is suited to more widely spaced shots, while Slow release maintains compression longer where loud impulses occur more frequently.

5X Situational Awareness

Built-in omnidirectional microphones amplify quieter sounds by up to five times, helping you hear range commands, conversation and environmental sounds more clearly.

Directional sound cues are maintained, helping you identify where sounds are coming from rather than simply increasing overall volume.

For hunters, this can help maintain awareness of movement and activity in the surrounding environment while wearing hearing protection.

NRR 28 Hearing Protection

The Stealth 28 HT carries a published NRR of 28 dB when correctly fitted.

Multiple sizes of both foam and silicone ear tips are included, allowing you to select the most appropriate fit and achieve a secure seal.

Correct ear-tip selection and fit are important for both comfort and the performance of in-ear hearing protection.

Designed for Shooters

One of the major advantages of the Stealth 28 HT is its behind-the-head design.

Traditional earmuffs can have their seal disrupted by the arms of shooting glasses. They can also come into contact with a rifle or shotgun stock when establishing a cheek weld.

The Stealth 28 HT keeps the sides of the head clear, helping maintain a consistent ear seal while reducing interference with shooting glasses, hats and firearm stocks.

There is also no heavy clamping pressure from traditional earmuff cups, making the design an attractive option for extended range sessions or hunting trips.

Lightweight at Just 27 Grams

At approximately 27 g with the ear tips installed, the Stealth 28 HT provides serious hearing protection without the bulk associated with conventional electronic earmuffs.

Its lightweight construction and behind-the-head balance are designed for comfortable extended wear.

Up to 25 Hours Runtime

A rechargeable battery provides up to 25 working hours from a charge, giving the Stealth 28 HT enough runtime for extended range sessions, competitions, hunting trips and long working days.

Charging takes approximately 2 hours using the supplied USB-C charging cable.

There are no disposable batteries to continually replace.

No Bluetooth – By Design

The Stealth 28 HT does not have Bluetooth.

It is designed for shooters and hunters who want electronic hearing protection and enhanced situational awareness without phone calls, music or other Bluetooth audio.

If Bluetooth connectivity is required, the Pro Ears Stealth 28 HTBT provides Bluetooth functionality while retaining the behind-the-head concept and DLSC technology.

Whether you're at the range, competing, hunting or working around high noise levels, the Pro Ears Stealth 28 HT Electronic Hearing Protection provides a lightweight alternative to traditional electronic earmuffs.

What is the difference between the Stealth 28 HT and Stealth 28 HTBT?

The key difference is Bluetooth connectivity. The Stealth 28 HT focuses on hearing protection and electronic sound amplification without Bluetooth. The Stealth 28 HTBT adds Bluetooth functionality for compatible wireless audio and calls.

How long does the Stealth 28 HT battery last?

Pro Ears specifies up to 25 working hours per charge. Charging takes approximately two hours using USB-C.

Can I hear conversations and range commands while wearing them?

Yes. The Stealth 28 HT uses omnidirectional microphones and provides up to 5X amplification, helping make quieter sounds, conversation and range commands easier to hear while the electronic system manages hazardous noise.

What are the Fast and Slow release modes?

Fast release restores amplified ambient sound quickly after an impulse and is useful where shots are more widely spaced.

Slow release maintains compression for longer and can be useful in environments with frequent loud impulses, including rapid strings or busy shooting bays.

Can I wear the Stealth 28 HT with shooting glasses?

Yes. This is one of the major benefits of its behind-the-head design. It avoids conventional earmuff cups pressing against the arms of your glasses and potentially compromising the ear seal.

Does it come with different sized ear tips?

Yes. Pro Ears supplies four sets of foam tips in XS, S, M and L, plus three sets of silicone tips in S, M and L.
